Florida Georgia Line And Hedley Both Sold Out

Submitted. Global Spectrum Facility Management, operators of the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre, are pleased to have hosted back-to-back sold out concerts at the venue last week and are looking forward to continuing the streak.

The first sell-out took place Wednesday, April 9 when Florida Georgia Line kicked off their Here’s To The Good Time Tour with Dallas Smith and Chris Lane in Abbotsford playing in front of 6,566 fans. Just three nights later on Saturday, April 12, local rockers Hedley took the stage and delivered an incredible performance fans will not soon forget. 6,545 people were in the building as lead singer Jacob Hoggard returned to the Fraser Valley delivering a memorable performance to the band’s hometown crowd.

“We are extremely proud of the entertainment lineup we’ve featured in 2014. When you look at this past week alone and the fact that we’ve just hosted two sold out shows in a row, it is remarkable,” said Jason Blumenfeld of Global Spectrum, General Manager at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre. “What is even more incredible is that we have upcoming announcements that we feel people will really be excited about!”

Christian rapper tobyMac marked the first sell-out of 2014 for the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre when his Hits Deep Tour played to a record-breaking crowd of 7,098 on February 21. South Asian icon Babbu Maan will be the next performer to take the stage at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre on Sunday, April 20. Maan has sold out the venue previously and will look to extend the venue’s sell-out streak to three consecutive shows when he performs later this week.
