The Fraser Valley Food Truck Festival featured 20 different food trucks from all over the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, local artisans and family entertainment Saturday at the Abbotsford Centre.

From the FVFTA. The Fraser ValleyFood Truck Association (FVFTA) was organized by a group of regional mobile food vendors with the cooperative goal of providing resources and support to food truck vendors in the Fraser Valley Region, including the North-East sector of Metro Vancouver.

The FVFTA mission is to promote its members by providing support and access to information. We pledge to help our membership work cooperatively with municipalities to further best practices, review codes, ordinances and procedures so all stakeholders benefit with the growing needs of this new industry.

Mobile vending has experienced incredible growth in just a few short years and what was once a cottage industry has now become one of the fastest growing trends in food service. As a united group we believe we can be an effective resource for food truck owners, associations and municipal agencies to the benefit of all.
