K9H2O & Bosley’s Pet Food Plus on Whatcom Road are pleased to announce they are working to upgrade one of the City of Abbotsford’s existing Off-Leash Dog Parks. The park is located on 2 acres of grassland, between Okanagan Drive and Haida Drive, off Gladwin Road. Plans for the park include: safe and secure double gated fencing, with a special area for small dogs, covered shelter, handicapped accessibility, along with other amenities.
Kendall De Menech, from K9H20 Indoor Pool for dogs and Liza Whiteside, the franchise from the new Bosley’s on Whatcom Road, are very excited about working on this new venture. Whiteside and De Menech will be heading up the fundraising efforts to upgrade the existing Off Leash Park.
“I am honored to have the City of Abbotsford’s support for this exciting project,” said Kendall. “I am confident that we will be able to create an exciting new space that is fun & safe for Pets and their owner’s to play.” The City of Abbotsford already has a few off leash parks, however, “Our goal is to create a unique dog park in Abbotsford,” commented Whiteside & De Menech.
K9H20 was founded in 2001 by Kendall De Menech and works mainly with dogs, and offers services such as puppy swims, pre and post-surgical exercise, weight management, conditioning, recreational, lifesaving training, and boating etiquette.
Liza Whiteside, the franchise at the new Bosley’s Pet Food Plus on Whatcom Road (Sumas Mtn Village), is an avid Pet lover and is passionate about dogs having a great place to run and play.
Bosley’s on Whatcom Road is a 4200 sq ft Pet Food and accessory shopping experience, with a self-serve Ubath. “I am very happy that the City of Abbotsford is willing to support Kendall, myself and community in making the needed improvements to this great park,” says Whiteside.
