Girl’s Night Out

The Evergreen development in the Yorkson neighbourhood of Willoughby has just launched a contest featuring Willoughby Hotspots For A Girls’ Night Out. The contest has been prominently featured on two Fraser Valley blogs; She’s a Valley Mom and Children’s Directory.

To enter the contest simply go to either one of the two blogs, read the Girl’s Night Out feature (links below) and enter the contest at the bottom of the page.

She’s a Valley Mom is the creation of Krystal Clark. She describes it as a  ‘blogazine’ that keeps readers of all ages in the loop of  events, resources, fun and adventure throughout the Fraser Valley and beyond! After the maternity leave of her second daughter ended, Kristyl decided to resign from her full-time reporting job at Peace Arch News to stay at home with her two lively little women, Molly and Zoe. When the  freelance writer/editor  isn’t up to her eyeballs in mountains of pink laundry, fishing keys out of the toilet bowl or drowning her sorrows in a bottle glass of wine, she contributes to various magazines, newspapers and online publications. The write-at-home-mom’s edgy parenting column ‘Pink Laundry,’ is also published, monthly, in various Black Press newspapers throughout Metro Vancouver.” – She’s a Valley Mom.

Children’s Directory In 2009 Kristie Pool, one of the founding mommas, left the company to have her third child and Jennifer Erickson became the go to mom for all Children’s Directory readers and partners. As both the Publisher and the Managing Director Jennifer has changed the look and format of the Children’s Directory to include a highly visible blog and social media presence. The Children’s Directory has also expanded their boundaries to cover Whistler to Hope and is working to expand to Vancouver Island and the Okanagan in the coming months.” – Children’s Directory.

Both blogs published entertaining and detailed accounts of their Girl’s Night Out which included visits to:

Evergreen

Evergreen Evergreen is the newest community of single-family homes in the flourishing Yorkson area of Langley. Located next to dedicated green space and across from Yorkson Community Park, these luxurious homes will be spacious, well built, and beautifully laid out. The homes feature 3000-3600 sq.ft of family-focussed living space, situated on generous sized lots that offer you and your loved ones the space you need and expect.

Exciting developments are happening all over the The Yorkson neighbourhood. Willoughby and the neighbourhoods within it are thriving with new amenities such as the Langley Events Centre, multiple new schools (Lynn Fripps Elementary and Yorkson Creek Middle School just down the road from Evergreen), and a new commercial hub at Willoughby Town Centre featuring an array of shops and stores.

A not-to-be-missed bonus is the quick access to Highway 1: Langley’s new park and ride (providing quick, convenient sky train access), and a new speedy route into Walnut Grove via the 202 Street underpass.

From shopping to education, transportation to entertainment, the Yorkson area of Willoughby is arguably the hottest spot in Langley.
