Goddard Charged In Poppy Box Thefts

Submitted. On November 10, 2013 several Royal Canadian Legion donation boxes were stolen from locations in Abbotsford. The Abbotsford Police Department embarked on an investigation and gathered evidence from all targeted locations. On May 21, 2014, Lisa Marie Goddard, was charged with five counts of Theft. Goddard is a 30 year old woman from Mission.

The charges relate to “Poppy Boxes” stolen from:

– A convenience store in the 1500 block of McCallum Road
– A gas station in the 1600 block of McCallum Road
– A gas station in the 1900 block of McCallum Road
– A gas station in the 1800 block of McCallum Road
– A farm market in the 33900 block of Clayburn Road
