From Wendy Bales. This is a little late for congratulations but I only saw this about a week ago on Facebook. I was not surprised that Marty McKinney has been recognized for exemplary service. After years of dedicated service as the Hemlock Fire Chief and it is well deserved.

On top of all the work that he does as the Fire Chief at Hemlock, Marty has for years been involved in many other things and fundraisers to help out in the Hemlock and the broader community.

Above and beyond his work for Hemlock, when I started the clothing drive for the Deroche School 3 years ago Marty was one of the first to ask how he could help. Marty has as well helped to raise awareness and several hundred dollars as well for the Deroche breakfast and lunch club for the kids as well as helping out with the Christmas Food hamper donations.

I have no doubt that Marty is also involved with a helping hand and much more in the community of his primary residence.

WELL DESERVED MARTY!!
