Loved listening to Judy Graves speak this morning at Douglas College in #Coquitlam.
She told the story about how the City of Abbotsford wanted to drive #homeless people away because they believed they were from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Judy interviewed about 30 homeless individuals in Abbotsford and learned they were all longtime residents.
So the city was trying to drive its residents away because they couldn’t afford housing.
How many othere cities do the same thing?
