The official list of candidates for the November 15 municipal election in Abbotsford was released this afternoon at 5 pm.
The list represents the candidates who submitted approved nomination forms pursuant to the February 25, 2014 announcement by the Minister of Community, Sport and Culture Development. The City of Abbotsford will hold elections every four (4) years, in accordance with the Local Government Act.

Declared Candidates
Bill Flitton, Chief Election Officer for the General Local Election to be held for the City of Abbotsford and School District No. 34 on November 15, 2014, declared, pursuant to Section 74 of the Local Government Act, the candidates for a four-year term for the offices of Mayor, Councillor, and School Trustee.
