Submitted. On May 25 from 8 to 10 PM, the Envision Coffee House Concert Series is proud to present Madflower at Clayburn Gourmet Gallery in Abbotsford.
For over 10 years, Madflower has been spinning out their own eclectic mix of Indie rock and roll and covers. Deeply rooted in 60’s and 70’s rock and roll, the band weaves its own magical blend of folk, blues and rock that will have you tapping your toes and dancing along as well as thinking about today’s social issues. Formed at the Millennium by Willis Taylor and Steve Walsh, Madflower has been a staple at coffee houses and clubs all over the Lower Mainland and in Abbotsford.
Concert goers are also invited to take part in Envision Financial’s Full Cupboard program by bringing non-perishable food or cash donations to Clayburn Gourmet Gallery.
“It’s so great to be part of two organizations that help their local community,” says Shana Temple, Manager of Envision Financial’s Minter Street Branch. “Envision Financial and the Abbotsford Arts Council have come together to tackle hunger in during the concert series. The Full Cupboard will be at the Madflower concert on May 25, and your cash or non-perishable food donations will support Abbotsford’s families through our local food bank.”
“The great thing about The Full Cupboard is that all food and funds collected in your community will stay in your community,” says Susan Byrom, manager of community investment at Envision Financial. “That’s a great way to ensure every penny counts!”
