Submitted. On November 9 from 8-10 PM, the Envision Coffee House Concert Series is proud to present Mars 31 at Wired Monk McCallum (1975 McCallum Rd) in Abbotsford.
Mars 31 is a unique blend of rock-folk, featuring strong vocal qualities. This band consists of Katie McCulloch, who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from UBC and at the age of 12 performed St. Matthews Passion at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Next is Detlev Hamann, who has completed up to grade 9 at the Royal Conservatory in piano and got his start in writing songs for his two daughters (an attempt to stop them from crying when mom went to work). Katie and Detlev met through work and after 12 years, started jamming together… and now… here they are, leaning more towards Rock than Bach.
