Darryl Andrews. Mega Superstar Beyoncé has broken multiple records with her ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ world tour gigs, including recent attendance records at arenas in New Zealand and Australia as well as becoming one of the highest grossing tours to ever take place Down Under.
The mammoth 107-date tour began in the USA at the start of 2013 and after touring New Zealand and Australia, becoming the highest grossing tours to ever take place Down Under. After a hiatus, the tour is currently heading back to the States and Canada for the final leg, which begins in our very own backyard; the Vancouver gig is booked at Rogers Arena on November 30.
Michael Coppel, president of tour management company Live Nation Australia commented , “This tour has been an absolute standout in terms of the showcasing Beyoncé’s unparalleled talent, energy and joy for performing in one of the most spectacular productions ever to visit this country.” The same production continues in Canada.
The tour has been filled with spontaneous moments including the Diva Face Timing a fan during a performance, another time photo bombing a fan who was taking a selfie in front of the stage and more recently singing a duet with one of her fans. It’s anyone’s guess what the singing dynamo will do to put an exclamation point on 2013’s Tour of the Year.
The former Destiny’s Child singer has been working on her highly-anticipated fifth album while travelling across the globe however her spokesperson has denied reports that a release date has been penciled in. Fraser Valley Photographer Darryl Andrews will be continuing his “Through the Lens” series for Today Media and expects Beyoncé will deliver an outstanding performance for her Vancouver fans. Today Media will publish exclusive photos and a review of the concert.
