Remembering Our Fallen Heroes

By November 10, 2014Community News

As we remember those who have been injured or died in both World Wars, the Korean War and all of the UN peacekeeping and combat missions here and around the world we have published the names of all of those who have died for us so far in Afghanistan.

“Today we are again reminded of the high price of our freedom. As we observe Remembrance Day, let us live each day as a tribute to those who have fought and given their lives for that freedom. To our fallen heroes, present and past, to our veterans, to the members of our armed forces serving at home and abroad and to their families, we express our thanks.”*

Fallen Canadians

Here we honour those who have given their lives serving Canada and helping the people throughout the world.

You too? Everyone seems to want to forget that 20 year old Pte. Steven Allen died on Nov. 6, 2014 after succumbing to his injuries suffered during a training exercise at CFB Wainwright, Alta.
Even though he died during training, he still died in the service of his country.
