Roundtable Discussion On TMX

Members of the public who wish to learn more or express their views on the proposed project are invited to attend the following roundtables, which will be taking place at the Tradex Trade & Exhibition Centre (Hall A), 1190 Cornell Street, Abbotsford, B.C.

Dates, times and themes of roundtables:
July 26 – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Theme: Local government
July 26 – 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Theme: Non-governmental organizations

While discussions will focus on issues relevant to local stakeholders, every effort will be made to hear the views of all members of the public in attendance. Generally, people will be asked to limit their comments to 3 to 5 minutes. No registration is required.

Background
The Ministerial Panel was established to create further opportunities for people from potentially affected communities close to the proposed pipeline and shipping route to provide their views on the project. A report of what the panel heard will be provided to the Minister of Natural Resources by Nov 1, 2016 and will be made public.
