The Rest Of The Picture

Although they forgot to tell anybody the event was happening, The Abbotsford News did do a good job of covering the International Overdose Awareness event in Jubilee Park this weekend.

They even published a video of the event complete with interviews with Toffs, crowd shots and shots of some of the signs that were put up around the grounds.

They had a little trouble getting the main sign into the video in its entirety. For some reason they were only able get their video camera to cover the right hand side of the sign along with a substantial amount of bushes and grass.

No worries … we got a photo of the centre of the sign which the News is welcome to add to their coverage 🙂

(Go to the 00:32 mark on the video to see the right hand side of the sign with the main part of the sign missing)

If you put their coverage and our coverage together you get a pretty good idea of what was actually happening 🙂

On the left - our photo of the whole point and purpose of the sign (the middle). On the right - the Abbotsford News' coverage of the right hand side of the sign and some very important bushes.

For The Record – the cartoon of Chief Constable Bob Rich was produced by Today Media‘s cartoonist, Dinsdale, and originally published on Abbotsford Today.

The fact that, according to Abbotsford News official dogma, we don’t exist, may have played a role in their inability or unwillingness to tell you the whole story 🙂
