“I think we’re all thirty now.”
“And we make our own fun.”
“If you’re in your twenties, you probably don’t think it’s a fun place. But you gotta make your own fun.”
“And what would you say to younger people?”
“You don’t have to run off to big cities. Stay, and invest in Abbotsford. People need to be committed to make things change. And, do it together.”
And that’s not just talk. These four have done that, and continue to lead the way!
Becky and Stephen, parents of Gorgeous Vera (5-month-old) founded and performed in the successful punk band “You Say Party! We Say Die!” Stephen just ran for the Green Party in the recent provincial election, and is already convening volunteers for his 2017 campaign! Together with Darla and Dave, and a few other peers, these FINE, TALENTED, AMAZING people organized the music fest “Jam in Jubilee”, which is just six weeks away.
