On Friday, March 8, 2013, Ryan Christopher Jensen, a 22 year old man from Vancouver, was arrested for a disturbing Break and Enter incident that took place in Abbotsford on October 26, 2010. He has been charged with Break and Enter, Robbery and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
This arrest was the result of the combined efforts of a courageous victim and diligent investigators from the Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit, Patrol Division and Forensic Identification Section.
Ryan Jensen was ultimately identified by DNA left at the scene.

Initial News Release of October 29, 2010.
The Abbotsford Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individuals responsible for a Break and Enter to a townhouse unit that resulted in a 20 year old female requiring hospitalization.
On October 26, 2010 at 6 pm a 20 year old female returned home to her 2nd floor townhouse in the 34900 block of Old Yale Road. The woman noticed damage to her door and upon entry to her suite she observed two Caucasian males loading some video games, clothing and electronics. One of the males immediately fled, the other attacked the woman and struck her several times to the face before he eventually left. The injured woman then called police. She ultimately was transported to hospital for treatment of facial injuries that ranged from bruises and lacerations to a possible fractured nose.
Descriptions:
Suspect 1 – white male, 20’s, 5’7”, 160 pounds, short spiky jelled light brown hair, very squared jaw, clean shaven. Attached is a composite sketch of this male who assaulted the woman.
Suspect 2 – white male, 20’s, brown hair.
