12 Noon Feb 9 All UFV campuses remain closed. All classes cancelled.

Submitted. Due to severe weather and poor driving conditions in the Fraser Valley, all UFV campuses and services will be closed for the remainder of Thursday, Feb 9. All classes and activities this afternoon and this evening are cancelled.

In the next few days, students must check their email and course websites for information from their instructors about how this affects their specific courses.

Next update Friday, Feb. 10 at 6 am. Please check ufv.ca for more information.

Thursday Feb 9 – Morning & afternoon classes cancelled
Submitted. Due to severe weather and poor driving conditions in the Fraser Valley, all UFV campuses are closed for morning and afternoon classes and activities today Thursday, February 9.
For classes starting at 4 pm or later today, the status has yet to be determined as we assess conditions and the snow removal effort required. We will provide an update at 12 noon today regarding those classes and activities. Check ufv.ca for updates.

From UFV Facebook page: UPDATE Mon, Feb 6, 4:30 pm. UFV CLOSED TUESDAY. Due to high snow volume and severe weather and road conditions in the Fraser Valley, all UFV campuses will be CLOSED Tuesday, Feb 7. All daytime and evening classes and activities are cancelled on Tuesday.

Our snow removal teams have been working hard to clear parking lots and walkways today, but the sheer volume of snow is making it difficult to safely return to a regular class schedule. Please check back here or at ufv.ca for more information. Next update at 4:30 pm Tuesday.
