UFV to host roundtable on Navigating a Turbulent World — Terrorism, the Media, Canadian Identity and Security — Oct 29

By Anne Russell. The attack on Parliament Hill on Oct 22 raises questions about security and identity of Canadians and our role in the fight against terrorism both at home and abroad. Come and take part in a roundtable discussion featuring UFV professors with expertise in international security, Canadian politics, and history y.

The event will take place on Wed, Oct 29, from 1-2 pm in Room A225 on the UFV Abbotsford campus. Admission is free and the public is welcome.

Speakers will include Dr. Edward Akuffo (assistant professor, Political Science), Dr. Scott Sheffield (associate professor, History), Dr. Hamish Telford (associate professor, Political Science).
