Tailgate parties are a great part of student life at University of the Fraser Valley and Darren McDonald is the perfect photographer to capture the moment.
The Cascades put on their 3rd annual Tailgate Party on Thursday, August 29th as part of UFV Student Life’s day long welcome to all the new students, at orientation, on the Abbotsford campus.
The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a fully accredited, public university that enrolls over 11,000 students per year. UFV has campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Mission, with regional centres in Hope and Agassiz, and a growing presence in Chandigarh, India. In Fall 2007, we began development of a beautiful new 80-acre campus in the Canada Education Park along the historic Vedder River in Chilliwack.
According to the 2008 Globe and Mail`s Canadian University Report, the University of the Fraser Valley was ranked as the top public university in B.C. of any size for overall quality of education, quality of teaching, most satisfied students, best student-faculty interaction, and best career preparation.
UFV also listed at the top, or sharing the top spot, in its category nationwide for having the smallest class sizes, most satisfied students, highest quality of education, highest quality of teaching, course variety/availability, ease of registration, and best library facilities.
