From the AAHA. The Abbotsford Angels have a handful of teams in the Boulanger Tournament in Cloverdale this weekend. The Mosquito A and AAA teams both went 2 and 0 on Saturday. The AAA Tier 2 team also won their lone game of the day. Action continues with playoffs on Canada Day.

Peewee AAA Home Opener
The Abbotsford Angels Peewee AAA play twice Sunday afternoon to open their home season at Berry Park. At 3:00 the boys take on Rutland, while at 6:30 they play their rivals from Cloverdale. Come out to Berry Park to root for the boys. Bring some loose change to buy some hotdogs or other treats to support the AAA program.

The Angels opened the season on Saturday with a convincing 14-1 victory on the road in Coquitlam against Victoria. Luke Szmutko continued his torrid long-ball pace in 2014 with another massive home run over the centre-field fence. Carlin Dick got the win with a strong performance on the mound.
