Ever since the Abbotsford Chciken Manure Homelss Incident City staff and officials, the Salvation Army, and the Abbotsford Police Department (APD) have been treading very carefully around the homeless in Abbotsford.
Emails obtained under Freedom of Information (FOI) request revealed that most of the top brass at City Hall were involved in the poisoning [Who Wasn’t Involved In The Chicken Manure Incident?] and an investigation was launched in the APD’s treatment of the homeless after allegations surfaced of cops slashing homeless tents and spraying them with pepper spray.
In August Abbotsford Today revealed a series of emails obtained by the Pivot Legal Society showing a less than flattering side of Chief Rich’s thoughts on the whole homeless issue in Abbotsford.
After last year’s APD Christmas card featuring Chief Constable Bob Rich as a heavily armed Santa, Dinsdale couldn’t resist this take on how the Chicken Manure controversy has caused the cops to back off for awhile bringing a bit of much needed peace and quite to the world of the homeless in Abbotsford of late.
This despite Chief Rich’s new walkabouts through downtown Abbotsford to let the homeless knows he’s keeping his eye on them.
