Dani Shap Women’s Golfer Of The Year

Dani Shap, a second year member of the UFV Cascades women’s golf team has been named the 2013 PACWEST Female Golfer of the Year. The Mission, BC native finished the three-tournament regular season with a score of 474 to capture the individual title. Shap is joined on the PACWEST All-Star team by teammate Jen Woods, Kelowna, BC, who shot a 480 for the season and VIU Mariners Kalli Gordon, Qualicum, BC with a 491 total. Shap, Woods and Gordon also receive conference medals for their top three finish.

PACWEST-MOn the Men’s side Aaron Pauls, Chilliwack, BC and Darren Whitehouse, Langley, BC have earned all-star status for the 2013 season. Pauls finished third with a three-tournament score of 428 and Whitehouse tied for fourth with a score of 431. Will Deck, Kelowna, BC was the 2013 individual champion, as the UBC-O heat veteran finished with a three-tournament total of 425. Camosun’s Jarred Callbeck, Victoria, BC finished second with 427 and Brent Pound Kamloops, BC led TRU Wolfpack with a score of 431, tied with Whitehouse. Deck, Callbeck and Pauls also receive conference medals for their top three finish.
