With the help of the Abbotsford Arts Council, Abbotsford Today is publishing a short feature on each of those who were nominated for an Arty Award in 2013.
Outstanding Artists in the Performing Arts – Dance Arty Award Nominees Jason and Crystal Warner of Surburban Swing have taught and performed all over the Lower Mainland, from theatre shows to special events, and have worked with such groups and artists as Michael Bublé, Carly Rea Jepson, Smallville, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and the Adoptive Families Association of BC.

We are proud to provide the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique as a resource for local artists to showcase their art.
In addition to the Kariton Gallery, the Abbotsford Arts Council produces a number of successful events to showcase local artists such as the Envision Coffee House Concert Series & Concert in the Park Series, Arty Awards, Arts & Heritage Unity Festival, and the Abbotsford Christmas Craft Fair. We also offer a wonderful education speaker series called “Art of Marketing”.
Artists, and those interested in the arts in Abbotsford, should check out our Resource Centre in the Kariton Gallery, home to member group information, auditions, job postings and volunteer opportunities.
