05/28/14, 10:09 – School & Classes Cancelled Due To Labour Dispute
Parents/Guardians and students should note that classes and school have been cancelled in Abbotsford School District for Wednesday, May 28 due to rotating strike action scheduled by the BC Teacher’s Federation.  A letter from Superintendent Kevin Godden is being sent home with students today, along with further information.

We regret the inconvenience this will cause families, but we are asking the cooperation of parents/guardians in not sending your children to school tomorrow, May 28. Though Abbotsford schools will technically be open, we will not have any staff to provide the necessary supervision and instruction for students. Our buses will not be running; all childcares, pre-schools and StrongStart Centres will be closed for the day. Facility rentals will also be cancelled for that day/evening.

Should any further developments happen, updates will be posted to the website.
